BCCI Announces T20I Schedule Against Zimbabwe
On Wednesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the schedule for the senior men's cricket team, which will embark on a three-match T20I series in Zimbabwe this July. The matches are set to take place at the Harare Sports Club, with the first T20I scheduled for July 23.
Upcoming Reciprocal Tours
The last visit of the Indian team to Zimbabwe occurred in 2024, where they played five T20Is. The BCCI has also announced that Zimbabwe will visit India for a three-match ODI series in January 2027, with venues confirmed in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. However, specific dates for these matches are still pending from both BCCI and Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC).
Recent Encounters
India and Zimbabwe last faced each other during the Super Eight stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, where India triumphed by 72 runs in Chennai, scoring 256 runs for four wickets.

Givemore Makoni, the managing director of Zimbabwe Cricket, expressed that the upcoming T20I series against India is a significant opportunity for both players and fans in Zimbabwe.
