Devaijit Saikia, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), has announced that the squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand will be revealed on Saturday.


In a statement, Saikia confirmed that the Indian Cricket Selection Committee for the Senior Men's team will convene on Saturday to finalize the team for the three-match ODI series, which kicks off on January 11 in Vadodara. He stated, "India will face New Zealand in a three-match ODI series starting January 11, and we will announce the squad after our meeting with the selectors this afternoon."

This ODI series against New Zealand is significant for the Indian cricket team as they prepare for the 2027 ODI World Cup. India's previous ODI series was against South Africa, where they secured a 2-1 victory in the three-match series.
