India's Dominance in T20 Cricket

India has made history by becoming the first team to successfully defend its ICC Men's T20 World Cup title this year, led by captain Suryakumar Yadav. Currently, India holds the top position in the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings, which evaluates matches played since May 2025 at full value and those from the previous two years at half value.

Current Rankings Overview

With a total of 275 points, India maintains a narrow lead over England, which has 262 points. Australia follows closely in third place with 258 points, according to the latest ICC update. This ranking reflects India's strong performance in T20 cricket, having won the Men's T20 World Cups in both 2024 and 2026, remaining unbeaten in all T20I series during this period.
