Harare: In a commanding performance, India triumphed over Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second T20I, securing a 2-0 lead in the three-match series on Saturday.

The final T20I is scheduled for Sunday.

Zimbabwe began their chase of 220 runs with promise, led by Brian Bennett, who scored 32 runs off 19 deliveries, including three sixes and three fours. However, the team faltered, losing wickets rapidly and ending their innings at 129 runs in 17.5 overs.

Earlier, India set a formidable target with significant contributions from Ishan Kishan, who scored 81 runs, and Tilak Varma, who remained unbeaten at 60. Their partnership of 94 runs for the fourth wicket propelled India past the 200-run milestone.
