The event featured athletes from various classification categories, utilizing the Raza point system to rank competitors. The athlete with the highest points total is declared the winner, irrespective of the actual distance thrown.
Devender began his series with a throw of 48.85 meters, later improving to 49.71 meters in his second attempt. Although he fouled on his third and fourth attempts and managed a throw of 45.20 meters in his fifth, his second-round performance was enough to secure the gold.
Rakesh's journey started with a throw of 47.87 meters, followed by 46.08 meters in his second attempt. After a foul in the third round, he achieved his best throw of 49.35 meters in the fourth attempt, which ultimately secured him the silver medal.
Pardeep, competing in the F64 category, achieved a personal best of 51.15 meters on his second attempt, earning him the bronze medal. Despite throwing further than both Devender and Rakesh, he placed third due to the combined-classification scoring system.
Pardeep's initial throw was 46.95 meters, followed by his personal best in the second round. He then recorded throws of 50.83 meters, 46.16 meters, 48.80 meters, and 47.84 meters in his subsequent attempts.
