ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 Details

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed the schedule and venues for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which is set to take place in India from September 30 to November 2. A total of 28 league matches will be conducted in a round-robin format across five renowned venues:

• M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru


• ACA Stadium, Guwahati


• Holkar Stadium, Indore


• ACA-VDCA Stadium, Visakhapatnam


• R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo (Sri Lanka)

The tournament will commence with India playing in Bengaluru, marking the return of the Women’s World Cup to India after a 12-year hiatus. The last time India hosted an ICC global women’s event was during the 2016 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which coincided with the men’s tournament.

Knockout Stage Venues Conditional on Pakistan's Performance

The venues for the knockout stages of the 2025 World Cup will depend on whether Pakistan qualifies.

• First Semifinal: October 29 – Guwahati or Colombo


• Second Semifinal: October 30 – Bengaluru


• Final: November 2 – Bengaluru or Colombo
  If Pakistan makes it to the semifinals or final, Colombo will host those matches.

Upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England

Looking ahead, England is set to host the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 from June 12 to July 5, featuring 12 teams competing in 33 matches across seven top venues.

Opening Match:

• Date: June 12, 2026


• Venue: Edgbaston, Birmingham


• Match: England women will kick off the tournament


• Tickets: Starting at £15 for adults and £5 for juniors

Knockout Fixtures:

• Semi-finals: June 30 & July 2 at The Oval, London
