Hyundai Venue Facelift Set for Launch: Key Features and Updates
Upcoming Launch of the Hyundai Venue Facelift
Hyundai is gearing up to unveil a refreshed version of the Venue, with recent sightings indicating testing in both South Korea and India. Anticipated to debut during the festive season in October 2025, the new Venue has been spotted under heavy camouflage. Despite the disguise, it appears to maintain a similar size to the current model, although recent leaks have revealed a new front design.
The leaked images suggest a significant departure from the previous model's aesthetics. The front end resembles that of the Hyundai Alcazar, featuring a continuous light bar across the width and headlamps integrated into the bumper. Enhanced alloy wheels and a raised bonnet line contribute to a more robust SUV presence. Interestingly, the Venue was seen alongside the new generation KIA Seltos facelift, hinting at a simultaneous launch in India.
Styling Enhancements
The updated Hyundai Venue is expected to feature sharper LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs), along with a redesigned grille. The international variant spotted during testing also included a radar module at the front. Additionally, the Venue will likely come equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), similar to those found in the KIA Seltos. The side profile will showcase thicker body cladding, front parking sensors, dual-tone ORVMs, and more substantial roof rails, with a matching dual-tone finish on the rims.
Engine Options and Competitors
The Hyundai Venue is expected to offer a range of engine options, including a 1.2-liter MPI petrol engine producing 83 PS and 113.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. There may also be a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine generating 120 PS and 172 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The KIA Seltos is likely to retain its existing engine lineup while potentially introducing a hybrid variant.
In terms of competition, the Hyundai Venue will face rivals such as the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Skoda Kushaq. Meanwhile, the KIA Seltos will compete against the likes of the Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta. The joint testing of both vehicles suggests a strategic alignment in their launch timelines.
