Historic AEW All In Texas 2025: Women’s Championship Main Event on the Horizon
AEW All In Texas 2025: A Landmark Event for Women's Wrestling
The AEW All In Texas 2025 event is anticipated to be a monumental occasion for All Elite Wrestling, particularly for its women's division. The night is set to feature a significant match that could potentially headline the event, showcasing the best talent from the current roster.
In a highly awaited showdown, Toni Storm, the reigning AEW Women’s World Champion, will defend her title against Mercedes Mone. Fans are eager to see if this match will mark the first-ever women's main event at an AEW pay-per-view, especially after AEW President Tony Khan previously opted not to feature Mariah May and Toni Storm's match in the main event slot during Revolution in March.
Tony Khan Discusses Main Event Possibilities
During a recent press conference following the Double or Nothing event, Khan addressed the speculation surrounding the main event for AEW All In Texas 2025. He mentioned that both the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments would have the opportunity to compete for their respective titles at the stadium show in July.
“It could potentially be possible,” Khan stated regarding the likelihood of AEW All In Texas 2025 featuring its first-ever women's main event. “Of course, we also had ‘Hangman’ versus Mox already proclaimed here also, which is also a great main event. I think we have great options for that show. But certainly two great Owen Hart Foundation winners and two great world championship matches as it stands right now on the table… They’re both great, great matches.”

Before the official announcement of Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Mone for AEW All In Texas 2025, fans had hoped to see Marina Shafir and Willow Nightingale as the first women to headline an AEW pay-per-view during the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. However, the event concluded with Hangman Adam Page facing Will Ospreay.
At the same annual May event, Toni Storm successfully defended her AEW Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa, while Mercedes Mone triumphed over Jamie Hayter to secure her spot in the upcoming title match at AEW All In Texas 2025.
