The Indian shooting team has made a significant impact at the Asian Games, contributing to the country's medal tally with five medals in total—four silvers and one bronze. Elavenil Valarivan also won silver in the women's 10m air rifle event, while the men's team secured silver. Himanshu and Rudrankksh Patil added to the medal count with silver and bronze in the individual competition.
