Over the past year, Harvinder has achieved remarkable success, highlighted by his historic gold medal win in para-archery at the Paris 2024 Paralympics. He dominated the men’s individual recurve open event.

The Padma awards are among India's highest civilian honors, categorized into three levels: Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, and Padma Vibhushan. These awards recognize excellence across various fields, including art, social work, public affairs, science, engineering, trade, medicine, and literature.
The Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award in India, following the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, and Padma Bhushan. With his recent achievements and a steadfast commitment to future competitions, Harvinder Singh aims to maintain his leading position in para-archery and continue to elevate India's status in the sport.
