Rajkot: On Saturday, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya showcased an incredible display of power hitting, smashing 11 sixes and eight fours to score 133 runs off just 93 balls for Baroda against Vidarbha in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.


Pandya's explosive innings came at a crucial time when Baroda was struggling at 71 for five and later 136 for six. Batting at No. 7 in his tournament debut, he achieved his first List A century in his 119th match, propelling Baroda to a total of 293 for nine in their allotted 50 overs.


In a remarkable 39th over, Pandya targeted Vidarbha spinner Parth Rekhade, hitting five sixes and a four, accumulating 34 runs from that over alone.
