Gujarat Titans Announce Ticket Advisory Following IPL Schedule Changes
BCCI Updates IPL Schedule for GT vs CSK Match
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recently updated the schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. The match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), originally set for April 26, will now take place in Chennai instead of Ahmedabad. Additionally, the return match on May 21 will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This change is due to the Municipal Corporation elections occurring in Ahmedabad and other regions of Gujarat on the same date.
Gujarat Titans' Commitment to Fans
In a bid to prioritize fan experience, the Gujarat Titans have introduced a flexible ticket policy for those who have already purchased tickets. The franchise aims to ensure that fans have a seamless experience. Ticket holders who booked through BookMyShow will receive notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, or email, providing them with two choices: either keep their tickets for the rescheduled match or request a full refund, which will be processed within 8-10 business days.
Fans must respond by April 20 at 12 PM to confirm their choice. If no response is received, tickets will automatically be retained. For those with physical tickets, refunds will only be processed after the tickets are successfully returned. Detailed instructions for returning physical tickets will be sent out starting April 21 through SMS, email, and WhatsApp. All ticket holders are encouraged to check their communications and respond promptly.
Current Standings of Gujarat Titans
As of now, the Gujarat Titans are positioned sixth in the IPL points table, having secured two victories and suffered two defeats.
