The event featured meditation sessions led by representatives from Sahaj Yoga and yoga demonstrations by Patanjali. The Government Senior Secondary School in Garola marked the 11th International Yoga Day with enthusiasm and community involvement. The event attracted a lively crowd of students, faculty, and special guests who united to celebrate the principles of yoga and mindfulness.


Guests from the NGO Sahaj Yoga, including Ms. Shalini Rawat and Jyoti Chadda, led meditation sessions, highlighting the mental and emotional advantages of achieving inner tranquility. Shri Parakrami, representing Patanjali, showcased various yoga postures and explained the importance of each asana to the students. Jitendra from JSW also attended, supporting the initiative.


The event was a collaborative effort, with active participation from the school’s NSS volunteers, Eco Club members, Scouts and Guides, and the Road Safety Club, all contributing to the program's success.


Principal Shri Mehr Singh addressed the audience, emphasizing the necessity of integrating yoga into daily routines for overall physical, mental, and spiritual health. He encouraged students to cultivate discipline through consistent practice and recognized yoga as a cherished Indian tradition that promotes holistic wellness.


Participants engaged enthusiastically in the yoga session, performing asanas and breathing exercises with great interest. The atmosphere was filled with positive energy and a collective commitment to health and wellness.
