Bhullar's Performance in Round Three

Gaganjeet Bhullar concluded his day with a single bogey on the ninth hole but still made a notable advancement in the third round of the USD 2 million International Series Morocco. The four-time IGPL champion and 11-time Asian Tour winner recorded a score of 4-under 69, improving from his earlier rounds of 70 and 74, which placed him at T-27, up from T-47 overnight.


Karandeep Kochar and Ajeetesh Sandhu's Results

Karandeep Kochar, who also started on the tenth tee, faced challenges on the back nine, finishing with a score of 2-under 71. His total of 4-under for three rounds positioned him at T-43. Meanwhile, Ajeetesh Sandhu had a fluctuating round, scoring 74 and dropping to T-47 from his previous T-25 standing.


Bubba Watson Maintains Lead

Bubba Watson, a two-time Masters champion, managed to retain his lead despite encountering two late bogeys, finishing with a score of 4-under 69. He now stands at 15-under, just one stroke ahead of Thailand's 2022 champion Jazz Janewattananond, who scored 67, and Hong Kong's Taichi Kho, who carded 68.


Player Highlights

Watson, aiming for his first victory since the 2018 Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour, had a strong start at 5-under through 12 holes but faced back-to-back bogeys on the 14th and 15th holes. He regained some momentum with a birdie on the drivable 17th hole.


Bhullar, who began on the back nine, achieved birdies on the 10th and 15th holes, and after the turn, he added more birdies on the third, fifth, and eighth holes, reaching a total of 5-under before his bogey on the ninth.


Kochar recorded five birdies, including three consecutive ones from the seventh to the ninth holes, but struggled on the back nine with three bogeys against two birdies.


Sandhu's round was marked by six birdies, six pars, and six holes with a bogey or worse, including one double bogey.


Leaderboard Insights

Japan's Takanori Konishi shot a bogey-free 66, aiming for his first win outside Japan, and joined Thailand's Pavit Tangkamolprasert, who scored 72, in a tie for fourth at 12-under.


Julien Sale from France and Thailand's Suteepat Prateeptienchai were tied for sixth at 11-under.


Mehdi El Fakori, the only Moroccan player to make the cut, recorded his second consecutive three-under par 70, moving up to tied 33rd place at five-under par.
