In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Gaganjeet Bhullar showcased his exceptional skills by clinching his third title on the Indian Golf Premier League (IGPL) Tour. Starting the week with a modest 1-under 71, which featured a spectacular hole-in-one, Bhullar finished strong with two impressive rounds of 67, culminating in a total score of 11-under at the beautiful Glade One Resort and Golf Club.

Raghav Chugh, a talented 21-year-old who recently graduated from Rice University, put up a commendable fight but fell just short, finishing in second place with a total score of 10-under after shooting a 4-under 68.

Three international players, including Filipino Justin Quiban, Mexican Santiago de la Fuentes, and Indian-American Manav Shah, aimed to make history as the first international winner on the IGPL but ended up tied for third at 8-under.

The competition was intense, with Bhullar, Chugh, and Fuentes all tied at 10-under with only two holes remaining. Ultimately, Bhullar's 5-under performance, highlighted by a birdie on the 18th hole and a crucial eagle-birdie combination on the 14th and 15th holes, secured his victory.

Quiban, who also played on an invitation, had a mixed day with six birdies but suffered a double bogey on the 17th, which hindered his chances. He finished with a birdie on the 18th, ending at 8-under and tied for third.

Fuentes, the 2024 Latin America Amateur Champion, struggled on the front nine with only one birdie and faced a setback with a double bogey on the 17th, dropping him to tied third.

Shah, who was among the overnight leaders, had a challenging round with six birdies but was hindered by a triple bogey on the tenth, finishing at 8-under and tied for third.

Ridhima Dilawari emerged as the top female professional, achieving a solid Top-10 finish with her best round of the week, a 5-under 67, which included six birdies and one bogey. Dilawari plans to focus more on the domestic circuit in the upcoming year.

Bhullar, known for his strong finishing abilities, demonstrated his experience throughout the tournament. After a shaky start, he rebounded with three birdies on the front nine, putting him in contention for the title. Despite a bogey on the back nine, he regained momentum with an eagle on the 14th and a birdie on the 15th.

With the competition tight, Bhullar's birdie on the 18th hole propelled him to 11-under, securing his lead. This victory marks Bhullar's third win in three starts at the 2025 IGPL, adding another Rs. 22.50 lakhs to his earnings, while Chugh took home Rs. 15 lakhs.
