The U.S. president presented the trophy to Spanish captain Rodri, accompanied by FIFA president Gianni Infantino. However, Trump remained on stage as the Spanish team gathered around Rodri, only departing once the trophy was lifted. Rodri appeared to gesture for Trump to leave, while Infantino also attempted to usher him off the podium.
