FIFA World Cup 2026 Reaches Knockout Stage


The FIFA World Cup 2026 has entered its crucial knockout phase, with 32 teams having secured their spots. On the last day of the group matches, Portugal ended their game against Colombia in a 0-0 stalemate, placing them second in their group while Colombia topped it. In another match, Congo triumphed over Uzbekistan to advance to the knockout rounds. Iran, however, was eliminated after finishing their group stage with three draws, as Algeria and Austria played to a thrilling 3-3 tie. Earlier, England and Croatia both achieved victories against Panama and Ghana, respectively. Argentina also delivered a commanding win over Jordan, although the match was inconsequential since Argentina had already progressed and Jordan was out of contention.
