Cristiano Ronaldo Approaches 1,000 Career Goals with Al Nassr
Ronaldo's Remarkable Goal-Scoring Journey
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to defy age, showcasing his scoring prowess as he approaches a remarkable milestone. At 41 years old, he recently converted a penalty, bringing his total to 965 goals, just 35 away from the coveted 1,000 mark. His journey saw him net his 925th goal with a header against Al-Wehda on February 25, 2025, and exactly one year later, he scored his 965th goal against Al-Najma, marking an impressive increase of 40 goals in just one year.
This latest goal also made him the all-time leading scorer in Al Nassr's history, with an impressive tally of 121 goals in 136 matches across all competitions. Despite his record-breaking achievements, Ronaldo has stated that personal accolades are no longer his primary focus. He has shifted his attention towards contributing to his team's success.

Ronaldo remarked, "I am accustomed to breaking records, but I no longer actively seek them. My priority now is to enjoy the game and assist Al Nassr and my teammates in achieving victory." Nevertheless, he remains determined to reach the milestone of 1,000 career goals, estimating that he could achieve this feat around his 41st birthday, provided he stays injury-free. He stated, "Reaching 900 goals was significant for me, and now my challenge is to hit 1,000 goals." In addition to his scoring ambitions, Ronaldo has also introduced a new slam dunk celebration, moving away from his signature 'Siu' celebration.
