When questioned about retirement, Ronaldo emphasized that the choice would be entirely his. "Regardless of whether I continue playing or not, I will always hold a significant role in this national team. I will retire when I choose to, as I have stated in the past. To be honest, whatever happens tomorrow, I will leave with a clear conscience, not just 100%, but 1000%. I've given everything to football," he remarked.

"This World Cup has been defined by the fervor of the people. It's not just our passion for competing at this level, but the passion of football fans worldwide," he shared.

"This morning at breakfast, I encountered individuals from Venezuela and Colombia who shared their stories with me. Many had tears in their eyes when they looked at me. That is what truly matters. That is the essence of life."

Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has amassed a total of 976 goals for both club and country and is on the verge of reaching the 1,000-goal milestone.
