I had planned this summer for a long time, aiming to take the entire month off to enjoy the games. Although I couldn't take the whole month off, I managed to catch several matches, including the Brazil-Norway game the previous week. Returning to New York for the final felt like a full-circle moment for a boy from Kolkata who dreamed of witnessing the World Cup and the best players in the world.
All attendees were incredibly fortunate, and those watching from home should feel equally lucky, as such moments are rare. The way this World Cup final unfolded felt almost destined, allowing the world to enjoy this spectacular event. Reflecting on the excitement that built throughout the day, I can confidently say it was worth every moment.
