Five students from Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Gill have made their school and district proud by earning spots on the baseball team for the upcoming Sub-Junior National Baseball Championship.


This prestigious event, the 31st Sub-Junior National Baseball Championship, is scheduled to take place from May 24 to May 29 at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.


The selected students include Harshdeep Kaur, Gursimar Kaur, Rupa Kumari, Aditi Chaudhary, and Shanu Kumari.


These talented athletes showcased their skills by winning a gold medal at the district-level competition, which led to their selection for the state-level event, where they again secured a gold medal.


Due to their exceptional performances, they have now qualified for the national championship.
