Faf du Plessis Stuns with Incredible Catch in Major League Cricket

Faf du Plessis' Remarkable Catch Steals the Show
In a stunning display of athleticism, Faf du Plessis proved that age is merely a number during the second match of Major League Cricket (MLC) held on Friday night at the Oakland Coliseum. The 40-year-old, now playing for Texas Super Kings (TSK), executed a spectacular one-handed catch to dismiss Michael Bracewell.
The moment unfolded when Adam Milne bowled a short, slower delivery. Bracewell hit the ball hard and flat, seemingly destined to pass du Plessis. However, the former South African captain reacted swiftly, leaping to his right to snatch the ball mid-air with one hand, landing safely without losing his grip.

Match Summary: TSK Sets a Challenging Target
This catch marked the fourth wicket for MINY, leaving them at 121/4 in 13.2 overs while chasing a target of 186 runs. Although they had some solid batting performances, the loss of Bracewell at a crucial moment proved detrimental. Nicholas Pooran's team remained competitive but needed to intensify their efforts.
Earlier, TSK had set a formidable total of 185/6 in their 20 overs. Devon Conway was a standout performer, scoring 65 runs off 44 balls, while Calvin Savage contributed a vigorous 53 runs off 34 balls towards the end of the innings.
MINY struggled at the start, losing both Agni Chopra and Quinton de Kock for single-digit scores, leaving them at 15/2 by the fourth over. Monak Patel scored a vital 62 runs off 44 balls, and Bracewell added 38 runs off 21 balls. Kieron Pollard later provided a late surge with 32 runs off just 16 balls, but it ultimately fell short.
