Exciting Wins Mark Opening Day of 3rd Hockey India Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2025

Thrilling Matches Kick Off Championship

The 3rd Hockey India Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2025 commenced with an action-packed opening day at the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Hockey Ground in Surat, Gujarat, on Monday. Teams such as Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy, Salute Hockey Academy, Sail Hockey Academy, Army Boys Sports Company, and S.G.P.C. Hockey Academy all celebrated victories.

In Pool C, Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy dominated the Sports Authority of Gujarat – Hockey Academy with an impressive score of 11-1. Varinder Singh and Karan Kumar each netted hat-tricks, scoring at 9', 53', 54' and 22', 29', 38' respectively. Arjandeep Singh (7', 60') and Arshdeep Singh (19', 34') also contributed two goals each, while Ankit added another at 14'. Alfesh Rajakbhai Musagara managed to score the sole goal for the Sports Authority of Gujarat.

Salute Hockey Academy also showcased their skills in Pool C, defeating Cheema Hockey Academy 7-1. Saurabh Kumar was the star of the match with a hat-trick, scoring at 21', 39', and 40'. Other contributors included Yogender Saini (12'), Arun (14'), Sunny (49'), and Pankaj (56'), while Saihbaz Singh opened the scoring for Cheema Hockey Academy at 7'.

In Pool B, Sail Hockey Academy triumphed over HAR Hockey Academy with a score of 3-1. Goals came from Bikash Kaetha (36'), Arun Lakra (40'), and Captain Dinesh Barla (60'), while Jatin scored the only goal for HAR Hockey Academy at 50'.

Army Boys Sports Company also secured a 3-1 victory against Markandeshwar Hockey Academy. Arjun opened the scoring at 9', followed by a brace from Captain Prasnt Aind at 27' and 50'. Garv Gill scored the lone goal for Markandeshwar Hockey Academy at 3'.

In Pool D, S.G.P.C. Hockey Academy clinched a narrow 1-0 win against Ritu Rani Hockey Academy, thanks to Khushbir Singh's goal at 34'.
