With all necessary regulatory approvals secured, including backing from the International Cricket Council (ICC), this season promises to be the league's most ambitious yet, featuring the addition of two new franchises.
'A Festival of Cricket': Chairman on League's Future
Jaideep Singh, the Founder and Chairman of USPL, shared his optimism regarding the league's future, stating, "With the launch of our fourth season, USPL is entering a new phase of growth. This year, we aim to introduce additional entertainment elements to enhance the USPL brand and draw more fans to the stadiums. We have several partnerships and announcements lined up that will be revealed soon. We are grateful for the overwhelming support from players and the cricket community, and we will continue to provide a platform for emerging talent to compete alongside the best in the world. This season promises to be a cricket festival featuring prominent names from around the globe, alongside the finest talent from US cricket, ensuring thrilling matches complemented by exciting entertainment."
Building on a Spectacular Season 3
The upcoming season builds on the success of Season 3, where the New York Cowboys triumphed over the Maryland Mavericks by seven wickets in a nail-biting final at Broward County Stadium. This season showcased some of the top talents in both international and American cricket, many of whom represented the USA at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, solidifying USPL's status as the leading platform for cricket development in the United States.
USA captain Monank Patel and skilled left-arm pacer Saurabh Netravalkar carried their impressive USPL performances into the World Cup, while allrounder Shadley Van Schalkwyk added significant international experience to the Season 3 roster. The competitive edge of the tournament was further enhanced by players like Aaron Jones and Unmukt Chand, the former captain of India's Under-19 World Cup-winning team.
Jake Lintott, the captain of the New York Cowboys, emerged as the standout player of the season, delivering a match-winning performance in the final that secured the championship for his team.
Looking Ahead to Season 4
With an expanded roster of teams, a strong lineup of international talent, and renewed institutional support, USPL Season 4 is set to provide exhilarating T20 cricket while further establishing the sport's presence across the United States.
