Upcoming Pickleball World Cup Details
Pickleball World Cup 2026: Scheduled from August 30 to September 6, the next Pickleball World Cup is generating buzz as the host city remains undisclosed. This highly anticipated event will showcase elite players and national teams from around the globe. Following the success of the 2025 tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which saw participation from over 60 countries, the excitement is palpable. The 2025 edition was even nominated for the Best International Tournament at the DINK Awards for the second year in a row, highlighting its rising prominence in the sport.
In 2025, the United States claimed victory, demonstrating exceptional skill across all categories, including juniors, open, and seniors. India made significant strides, finishing seventh overall with 25 medals, becoming the only Asian nation to break into the top 10. This performance underscored India's growing influence in the global pickleball scene, with players excelling in various categories.
Leading the Indian team, Suryaveer Singh Bhullar won gold in the 50+ Men’s Doubles (4.5) alongside former Davis Cup player Nitten Kirrtane. Their success contributed to India's medal count, bolstered by impressive performances from athletes like Rakshikha Ravi, Sindoor Mittal, Dhiren Patel, Deepali Agarwal, Veer Shah, Anushka Chhabria, Kiaan Contractor, Aayra Khanna, Aariv Raj Khanna, and Mihika Yadav. Additionally, Amrita secured a silver medal in the Women’s Singles (4.5 DUPR) category.
The junior athletes from India also shone brightly, earning the ‘Best Delegation – Juniors’ award. Veer Shah was recognized as the Most Valuable Player in the juniors category, while Anushka Chhabria stood out by winning four medals, significantly contributing to the junior team's achievements.
With the 2026 dates confirmed, anticipation now shifts to the announcement of the host city and team selections in the upcoming months. India has yet to finalize its squad for the next edition, but expectations are high following last year's commendable performance.
