In a remarkable display during the Indian Premier League (IPL), Eshan Malinga, a pacer for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), achieved the third-best bowling figures by an overseas player for the franchise. This occurred during their match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Tuesday.


Malinga's outstanding performance included a spell of 4 wickets for 32 runs in four overs, where he claimed crucial wickets of Nitish Rana, David Miller, Tristan Stubbs, and Ashutosh Sharma. His efforts significantly hindered DC's chase of a daunting target of 245 runs.
