Aston Villa responded with Ross Barkley equalizing in the 64th minute. However, United quickly regained their advantage as Matheus Cunha scored in the 71st minute, followed by a goal from substitute Benjamin Sesko in the 81st minute, securing the win.

This victory propelled Manchester United to 54 points, keeping their Champions League aspirations alive.

In another significant match, Liverpool ended up with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. Richarlison scored a late equalizer for Tottenham, frustrating Liverpool's hopes for a top-four finish.
