Kansas City: The England national football team encountered a significant issue when a large portion of their training gear, including player boots and tactical equipment belonging to manager Thomas Tuchel, was reportedly stolen just before their World Cup match against Croatia.

According to reports, the Football Association (FA) is currently investigating the theft, which involved the break-in of vehicles transporting equipment to their training facility at Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City. Items such as footballs and boots are among those believed to be missing, as stated by the BBC.

Local police are collaborating with the FA to look into the situation, and it has been confirmed that two individuals have been arrested in relation to this incident.

A spokesperson for the Kansas Police commented, "We are looking into a potential theft of equipment from a team vehicle that arrived in Kansas City with items unaccounted for this evening. The investigation is still active."
