Ellyse Perry has made history by becoming the first player to participate in 50 matches of the T20 World Cup, a feat that neither Rohit Sharma nor Virat Kohli accomplished during their careers. Currently representing Australia in the 2026 T20 World Cup, Perry has been a part of every T20 World Cup since its inception in 2009. Over these 50 matches, she has amassed 559 runs and taken 42 wickets, establishing herself as one of the top performers in T20 World Cup history and playing a crucial role in Australia's championship victories.

Following Perry is Suzie Bates, who has played 43 matches, scoring 1235 runs and taking 11 wickets. Alyssa Healy, who retired after 42 matches, ranks third with 1008 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur and Sophie Devine follow closely with 41 and 40 matches, respectively. Harmanpreet is set to play her 42nd match against South Africa on June 21.

Kohli, on the other hand, played 35 matches, placing him seventh on the list. He made his T20 World Cup debut in 2012 and captained the Indian team during the 2021 tournament. Currently, both legends are focused solely on ODI cricket. Jos Buttler and Shakib al Hasan are tied for second place with 43 matches each, followed by David Warner (41), Adil Rashid (38), and Mahmudullah (37).
