Injury Update on Eathan Bosch

Eathan Bosch, an allrounder from South Africa, will miss the upcoming five-match T20I series in New Zealand due to a hamstring injury. Wiaan Mulder has been selected as his replacement in the 15-member squad for the series commencing on March 15. Bosch has only participated in one ODI for South Africa, which took place a year ago, and was set to make his T20I debut. In contrast, Mulder has played in 11 T20Is, with his last appearance against Ireland in September 2024.

The team is scheduled to leave for New Zealand from OR Tambo International Airport on March 8. Members of the squad and management currently in Kolkata will head directly to New Zealand on the same day. The South African cricket teams are currently in Kolkata after being eliminated from the T20 World Cup, having lost to New Zealand in the semi-finals on March 4.
