Dwayne Bravo's Slip-Up at KKR Press Event

During a press conference held by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 19, Dwayne Bravo found himself in an awkward situation. As the franchise's mentor, he joined skipper Ajinkya Rahane, head coach Abhishek Nayyar, and assistant coach Shane Watson to address the media ahead of the IPL 2026 season, which kicks off on March 28. Unbeknownst to Bravo, his comments were being picked up by the microphones. He was overheard jokingly mentioning to Watson and Nayyar that he had 'two chicks at my home.' KKR's Upcoming IPL 2026 Season

The Kolkata Knight Riders are set to begin their IPL 2026 journey on March 29 against the Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede Stadium. Following a disappointing 2025 season where they finished 8th despite being the defending champions, KKR has made significant changes to their roster. They were particularly active during the auction, parting ways with several key players, including the iconic Andre Russell, and acquiring Cameron Green for a record Rs. 25.20 crores. However, the team is currently facing a player availability issue, as the BCCI has requested the release of Mustafizur Rahman, and Matheesha Pathirana's fitness remains uncertain. Additionally, Indian pacers Harshit Rana and Akash Deep have been ruled out due to injuries.
