This event marked DLI's inaugural significant talent search in Punjab, further enhancing its grassroots cricket initiatives nationwide.

Strong Participation at JP Sports Academy

Taking place at JP Sports Academy in Derabassi, Mohali, the trials featured several prominent tennis ball cricket athletes who also took part in the event, as reported by DLI. Participants aged between 13 to 18 years competed in the junior category, while those over 18 participated in the senior category, all eager to secure a spot in one of DLI's six teams.

Founders Praise Enthusiastic Response

Chetanya Nanda, one of the founders of DLI, expressed his admiration for the talent pool in Mohali, stating that the turnout exemplifies the region's cricketing passion. He remarked, "The energy, skill level, and determination we observed were genuinely inspiring. I urge major corporations to support these grassroots players on their journey."

Rishabh Bhatia, another founder, echoed these sentiments, noting, "Punjab has shown us a fantastic response. The presence of well-known tennis ball cricket stars today added excitement and motivation for the young players."
