Day 2 Highlights of the Championship

Surat (Gujarat) [India], December 25: On the second day of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Men Academy Championship 2025, teams such as Ghumanhera Riser's Academy, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat, S.G.P.C Hockey Academy, and Army Boys Sports Company showcased impressive performances, securing significant victories in Zones A and B.

In Pool D, Ghumanhera Riser's Academy delivered a stunning 15-0 defeat to Raja Karan Hockey Academy. Tashu was a standout player, scoring four goals (19', 52', 55', 58'), while Siddharth contributed a hat-trick (22', 35', 56'). Additionally, Nishant (16', 28') and Duvish (58', 59') each netted two goals. Other contributors included Captain Yuvraj Singh (6'), Jay (26'), Yash (44'), and Kapil (52'), who each scored once.

Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat also excelled in Pool D, defeating Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy with an 8-0 scoreline. Nikhil was the star of the match, scoring four times (13', 31', 41', 45'), while Himanshu added two goals (27', 51'). Yashmit Deswal (25') and Aryan (37') each scored once.

In Pool C, S.G.P.C Hockey Academy triumphed over Hockey Family Badhkhalsa NCR Hockey Society with a commanding 15-1 victory. Sukhdev Singh scored four goals (43', 45', 49', 58'), and Diljeet Singh (5', 16'), Mehakdeep Singh (20', 60'), Jarmandeep Singh (25', 41'), and Inderpreet Singh (38', 53') each scored two goals. Arshdeep Singh (18') and Sukhraj Singh (59') contributed one goal each, while Anubhav (19') scored the only goal for Hockey Family Badhkhalsa NCR Hockey Society.

In Pool A, Army Boys Sports Company secured a 6-1 victory against Cheema Hockey Academy. Bara Chhitij (1', 4'), Venkateswara Kolnati Rao (22', 47'), K.T. Aiyappa Linith (7'), and R.P. Rithveesh (57') were the goal scorers, while Harmanjot Singh netted the sole goal for Cheema Hockey Academy.
