Mukesh Kumar Penalized for Code of Conduct Breach

In Mumbai, Delhi Capitals bowler Mukesh Kumar has been penalized 10% of his match fee due to a violation of the IPL Code of Conduct during a match against the Mumbai Indians.

He received one demerit point for a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2, which pertains to the misuse of cricket equipment, clothing, or ground fixtures during gameplay.

The Delhi Capitals faced a defeat against MI by 59 runs, resulting in their elimination from playoff contention, while MI secured the final playoff spot.

According to an IPL statement, Mukesh Kumar acknowledged his Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 and accepted the penalty imposed by the Match Referee.

The Match Referee's ruling is deemed final and binding for Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct.

In the match, Mukesh bowled four overs, conceding 48 runs and taking two wickets, with his final over costing 27 runs, including three sixes and two fours.
