Despite performing well in the middle order this season, the team management may once again alter his batting position due to the absence of opener Jack Fraser-McGurk, who will not participate in the remaining matches for personal reasons. Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis, who has been consistently opening, is uncertain for this match, putting Rahul in a crucial position once more.
