Shivank wins silver, Navya bronze; school and state celebrate proud achievement


Kangra: Two talented athletes from DAV Public School, Tiara, located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, have brought pride to their school and country by earning medals at an international Taekwondo championship in Pokhara, Nepal.


Shivank, an eighth-grade student, achieved a silver medal, while sixth-grader Navya secured a bronze, demonstrating their remarkable strength, skill, and determination on a global platform.


Under the expert mentorship of Taekwondo coach Vijay Dogra, along with the support of teachers Kulbhushan and Shammi, these young champions were well-prepared for this prestigious event. Their combined efforts led to this impressive accomplishment.


The school's administration, including Chairman Justice Pritam Pal (retd), Regional Officer Bikram Singh, Manager Dr. Rashmi Jamwal, and Principal Ekta Attari, extended their congratulations to the students for their exceptional performance.
