After extensive speculation, WWE has officially announced that the Crown Jewel 2025 premium live event will take place in Australia, marking a significant change from its previous venue in Saudi Arabia. This decision was confirmed by WWE, indicating a new direction for the event.
In a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shared insights about the upcoming event, stating that the traditional men's and women's title matches will remain a highlight of the show.

The Crown Jewel 2025 will continue the tradition of champion vs. champion matches, a format introduced last year. This year, fans can expect to see top champions from Raw and SmackDown face off, similar to the previous event where Cody Rhodes triumphed over GUNTHER and Liv Morgan claimed victory against Nia Jax, becoming the first-ever champions.
Meltzer also mentioned that Survivor Series will feature the men's and women's WarGames matches, scheduled for one month after Crown Jewel 2025. However, details regarding the next Saudi Arabia event remain unclear, even though WWE is set to return to the country in June.
Crown Jewel 2025 is slated to occur at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, on Saturday, October 11. This event will be preceded by a special edition of Friday Night Smackdown on October 10 and followed by Monday Night Raw on October 13. Notably, John Cena is anticipated to make his final WWE appearance in Australia during this event, as part of his retirement tour.
