Chahal's Excitement for Kuldeep's Wedding

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], March 13: Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal made his way to Dehradun on Friday to partake in the wedding festivities of his teammate Kuldeep Yadav, expressing his joy about the occasion.

In a conversation with a news outlet, Chahal conveyed his eagerness for the celebrations, highlighting his close friendship with Kuldeep. “I am thrilled for my brother’s wedding. I plan to dance a lot and have a great time,” he remarked, hinting at the vibrant celebrations to come.

Following India's triumph in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Ahmedabad, Kuldeep is ready to embark on a new journey in his personal life.

The celebrated cricketer is set to tie the knot with his fiancée, Vanshika, on March 14, in the scenic hill station of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. The ceremony will be held at the Welcomhotel The Savoy.

Reports indicate that the couple had previously engaged in a private ceremony in Lucknow last June, attended by only close family members.

This upcoming wedding is anticipated to be a private event, with several notable cricket figures expected to attend. Among the guests are former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar and current players Rinku Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tilak Varma, among others.

This celebration follows India’s impressive performance in the T20 World Cup 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India clinched the title by defeating New Zealand, scoring an impressive total of 255 runs, bolstered by half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson.

New Zealand was bowled out for 159 runs.

After the victory, Kuldeep expressed his pride in the team's accomplishment, stating, “This is a significant win. The tournament went exceptionally well for us, and we have been preparing for this for a long time.”

He also shared a touching message for Sanju Samson, saying, “I have been on this cricketing journey with him since the Under-12s, and I am delighted to see him receive the rewards of his dedication over the years.”
