Exciting Start to the Women's T20 World Cup

The highly anticipated 10th edition of the Women's T20 World Cup is set to commence with the host nation, England, going up against Sri Lanka in Birmingham. England, who claimed the first T20 World Cup title back in 2009, are eager to replicate their past success on home soil, as this is the only T20 World Cup hosted in England. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, is still in search of their first ICC title.

Following their match against Sri Lanka, England will take on Ireland on June 16, and will subsequently face Scotland, West Indies, and New Zealand on June 20, 24, and 27, respectively. Sri Lanka will also have a busy schedule, competing against New Zealand, West Indies, Ireland, and Scotland in their next four matches.

Australia stands out as the leading contender in this tournament, having secured six titles out of the nine T20 World Cups held to date. They will kick off their campaign against South Africa on Saturday, June 13.
