Chopra, who played 10 Tests for India, formed effective partnerships with Sehwag during the 2003 Australian tour, yet Sehwag's explosive style often made Chopra's efforts seem less significant. “In the opening pair of Sehwag and Chopra, Aakash would often provide solid starts, but Sehwag's aggressive batting made him appear almost invisible. Not that he wasn't performing well; Aakash did a commendable job during that tour. However, I believe Sooryavanshi's fierce batting has somewhat thrown Jaiswal off balance. In several matches, Jaiswal has been dismissed while attempting to play aggressively,” Ashwin added.
