In a remarkable display of talent, 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has made history by becoming the youngest cricketer globally to score a fifty in men's international cricket. He accomplished this feat in just 18 balls during the first T20I match against Zimbabwe on Thursday.

Sooryavanshi's explosive innings included 4 fours and 4 sixes, propelling India towards their target of 126 runs after a rapid start at the Harare Sports Club.

Choosing to bowl first, the Indian team successfully limited Zimbabwe to 125 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs.

This achievement sees Sooryavanshi surpass the previous record held by Nepal's Kushal Malla, who reached the milestone at 15 years and 340 days. In contrast, Sooryavanshi achieved this at just 15 years and 118 days.

Currently, India is on a tour of Zimbabwe, competing in a three-match T20I series.
