Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, at just 15 years old, became India's youngest international cricketer during the second T20I against England in Manchester on Saturday. His much-anticipated debut came after a notable absence from the previous T20Is against Ireland, despite his impressive performances in the IPL.


In his first international match, Sooryavanshi showcased his talent by scoring 14 runs off 10 balls, giving fans a taste of his aggressive batting style.


Following the game, the young cricketer expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking fans, teammates, and senior players for their unwavering support. He shared a photo of himself donning the Indian jersey, stating that representing his country was a dream realized and vowing to always put forth his best effort whenever given the chance.

Despite Sooryavanshi's remarkable debut, India faced a four-wicket loss as England successfully chased down a target of 191 runs, leveling the five-match T20I series at 1-1. Jacob Bethell was the standout performer for England, scoring an unbeaten 76 runs off 46 balls, while Harry Brook contributed a rapid 39 runs off just 15 balls, leading England to victory. Earlier, India had set a target of 190/7, but a costly over from Ravi Bishnoi, which conceded 29 runs, proved to be a turning point.
