Sooryavanshi, who represents Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL, was present at the BCCI Naman Awards in New Delhi on Sunday, where the India Under-19 cricket team was celebrated for their success in the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026.

During his speech at the awards ceremony, the 14-year-old expressed his determination to win the IPL trophy in 2026, emphasizing his desire to make significant contributions to the team's success.

"Winning the trophy is the primary goal for this season. A victory would not only benefit the franchise but also enhance my own performance. I aim to contribute as much as possible to help the team lift the trophy," Sooryavanshi stated in a video shared by Star Sports on Instagram.

In the finals against England at the U-19 World Cup, Sooryavanshi was named Player of the Match for his remarkable innings of 175 runs off just 80 balls, which included 15 fours and six sixes.
