UP Challengers Triumph in Wheelchair Cricket Championship Finale

In a thrilling conclusion to the 6th Wheelchair Cricket Championship 2026, the UP Challengers secured a remarkable victory against the Chhattisgarh Fighters, winning by 68 runs at the Law Ground, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, the UP Challengers set a formidable target of 153 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 15 overs. Hublal played a stellar innings, remaining unbeaten on 63 runs, while Jaydev Yadav contributed a rapid 36 runs off just 16 deliveries. In response, the Chhattisgarh Fighters struggled to keep pace, finishing their innings at 85 runs for 7 wickets in the same number of overs, despite a valiant effort from Komal Yadav, who scored 57 not out. Basantlal Bind was the standout bowler for UP, taking 3 wickets, with Rinku adding 2 wickets to ensure a decisive win.
