Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [India], July 28: TVS Motor Company, a prominent player in the global two- and three-wheeler market, has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering the next generation of racing talent in India. The company has donated 10 TVS Apache RR 200 Mini Motorcycles to the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC).

The specially designed TVS Apache RR 200 Mini will serve as the foundation for a comprehensive rider development program aimed at young racers aged 10 to 14 years. This initiative will provide them with essential racing skills under the mentorship of seasoned instructors and TVS Racing champions, as stated in a recent announcement.

The TVS Apache Junior Programme is a pioneering effort tailored for children aged 10 to 14, designed to help them uncover and nurture their racing abilities. This program features a structured educational pathway that includes top-notch training and mentorship at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA).

Participants will have access to the TVS Apache RR 200 Mini motorcycles, which will be available for rental as part of the program.

This initiative aims to introduce young riders to the essential aspects of racing, such as discipline, precision, control, and safety, while making professional motorsport more accessible. It also seeks to lay a solid groundwork for future racing champions and enhance India's grassroots motorsport framework.

The program outlines a clear progression for aspiring racers, starting with the TVS Apache Junior Programme for ages 10-14, followed by the TVS OMC Rookie Category for those 15 and older, which leads into competitive circuit racing.

Riders can then advance to the TVS OMC RR 310 Expert Category for further racing development before entering the TVS Racing International Championship, which provides a platform for competing on an international level.

Through meticulously crafted training programs and dedicated racing schools, young riders will receive structured coaching in a safe environment, guided by expert instructors and equipped with specialized motorcycles and high-quality protective gear.

This comprehensive approach not only builds skills and discipline but also instills confidence while promoting a culture of safe and responsible riding.
