In a rain-affected match, the New Delhi Tigers set a target of 156 runs, scoring 156/5 in their 15 overs. The innings began poorly for the Tigers, who found themselves at 37/2 by the sixth over before rain interrupted play.
After the delay, captain Himmat Singh and Lakshay Thareja turned the tide with a remarkable partnership of 101 runs, significantly boosting their team's chances.
Himmat showcased his batting prowess, scoring a rapid 61 runs off just 25 balls, including five sixes and four fours, while Lakshay supported him well, finishing with an unbeaten 62 off 41 balls, helping the Tigers to a competitive score.
