England U19s Set for Exciting Series Against India

London [UK], June 13: The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has officially named Thomas Rew as the captain of the England men's U19 team for an upcoming five-match Youth One-Day International series against the India men's U19 squad at home.


According to a statement from the ECB, "Thomas Rew will lead the England Men U19s in the five-match Youth One-Day International series against India Men U19s."


Among the 15-player squad, Worcestershire's Isaac Mohammed stands out as the only uncapped player.


Mike Yardy, the Head Coach for England Men U19s, expressed enthusiasm about the selected squad, stating, "We have chosen an exciting lineup for the ODI series. Our players possess a range of white-ball skills and are mainly available for the ICC Under-19 World Cup this winter."


He added, "Facing the India Under-19s will be a significant challenge this summer, providing a fantastic opportunity for the boys to showcase their talents both as a team and individually."


The series kicks off at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove on Friday, June 27, followed by matches in Northampton and Worcester.
