Gavaskar expressed his hope that Sooryavanshi would be included in the T20I squad for the upcoming tour of England, emphasizing that his remarkable performance warrants selection. He remarked, "Don’t focus on his age. The way he is hitting boundaries against seasoned players who are significantly older and more experienced is impressive; his age should not be a factor in the decision-making process."
