Dubai, June 30: Indian left-arm spinner Sree Charani has successfully held onto her title as the world's top T20I bowler, according to the latest rankings released on Tuesday. Despite India's exit from the group stage of the Women's T20 World Cup, Charani's impressive tally of 14 wickets has solidified her position. However, with several competitors still active in the knockout rounds, her lead could be challenged.


Rising Competitors in the Rankings

England's Sophie Ecclestone has moved up to third place after securing eight wickets in the tournament, while teammate Lauren Bell made a significant leap, climbing three spots to fourth. South African spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba also improved her ranking, moving to fifth, and Pakistan's Nashra Sandhu rose to ninth.


Notable Movements in Bowling Rankings

Other notable advancements include South African all-rounder Marizanne Kapp, who jumped seven places to 14th, and Scotland's Kathryn Bryce, who surged 17 spots to 26th. New Zealand's Bree Illing also climbed six positions to 31st.


Top T20I Batters and All-Rounders

In the batting rankings, Australia's Georgia Voll remains the top T20I batter, despite a lackluster performance in her last group match against India. South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt moved up to joint third, while Sri Lanka's Chamari Athapaththu climbed to seventh after her unbeaten century against Ireland.


England's Danni Wyatt-Hodge, the tournament's leading run-scorer, advanced five places to 11th. Veteran Australian player Ellyse Perry also improved her ranking, moving up to 17th. South Africa's Annerie Dercksen rose to 24th, and Scotland's Darcey Carter jumped 13 spots to 42nd.
