Smriti Mandhana's Wedding Postponed Due to Family Health Crisis
Wedding Plans on Hold
The eagerly awaited wedding of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has been postponed indefinitely following a medical emergency in the Mandhana family. On November 23, Smriti's father, Shrinivas, was admitted to a hospital in Sangli after experiencing heart attack symptoms, leading the cricketer to prioritize his health over the wedding arrangements. Compounding the situation, Palash Muchhal was also hospitalized on Monday due to a viral infection and acidity, although he was released the same day.

Dr. Naman Shah, who is overseeing Shrinivas's care, has confirmed that he is being monitored for high cardiac enzymes and blood pressure levels.
“Smriti is very clear—her father's health is her top priority,” stated Tuhin Mishra, Mandhana’s manager. “We kindly ask for privacy during this challenging time.”
Although the couple had planned pre-wedding festivities, including a sangeet and haldi, those celebrations are now postponed.
